We are looking for our client a Business Development Manager (M/F) an experienced sales professional in the agriculture or climate sectors. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with clients in the private and public sectors, in Africa and internationally.
- Plan and execute a sales strategy targeting new customers in the private and public security industry.
- Build a network of key influencers and decision makers to drive demand for products.
- Build a qualified sales pipeline through prospecting activities to ensure coverage of quarterly and annual growth targets.
- Provide thought leadership to target customers through initiatives that generate demand and adoption for real-time alerting and geolocation products.
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships focused on long-term partnerships with customers.
- Be a subject matter expert in the industry by staying abreast of competitive activity, trends and innovations in order to provide appropriate advice on strategic and tactical sales recommendations.
Profil du poste
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 5+ years of experience
- Good team management skills
- Expertise in prospecting and developing strong customer relationships
- Experience in using open source information, a plus!
- Be able to express yourself well in English to follow up with English-speaking customers
