Description du poste – Senior Credit Manager
Oversee the Credit and Collections Department within the business
Revamp and improve credit processes within the functional business Credit Team.
Responsible for overall underwriting, loan origination, disbursement and administration of the credit portfolio.
Handle risk and compliance reviews for all credit transactions within the business.
Optimize processes around loan application, funnel management and disbursement.
Ensure that business processes around assets disbursement are adhered to, contract execution, loan
documentation on adequate systems.
Oversee external financing partners relationships – SLA adherence and channel growth.
Train and ensure that the core team is delivering efficiently with high standards.
Deploy efficient processes to deliver overall channel growth.
Accountable for core performance indicators of the Credit Channel as assigned.
Interface with Senior Management Team on issues pertaining to performance and Team Management.
Oversee and manage an etire credit portfolio based on local origination and local agreed targets.
Deploy best in class funnel management processes to ensure that applying customers are effectively served.
Advise AutoChek on innovative and efficient ways to improve the loan application process.
Ability to identify an acceptable level of lending risk, in line with AFS’s risk appetite statement, and to
maximise profit from that transaction.
Support and demonstrate a risk management culture in line with AFS’s values – proactive identification and
escalation of risks and issues to mitigate further risks/losses.
Help loan applicants solve any issues that might arise during the application process.
Responsible for key performance indicators in-country as aligned with superiors
Work closely with product owners to ensure product market fit.
Maintain and sustain the company’s core values.
Implement brand strategies aimed at building the company’s brand.
Drive technology adoption of internal and external consumers/customers.
Ensure a data-driven decision-making process across the organisation.
Benchmark internally and externally while driving the organization towards best-in-class performance
Profil du poste
BSc or Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Computer Science or related fields.
Financial Risk Training or Certification
MBA or extensive training in Credit, Risk, Finance, Team building, Leadership,
Management and other business areas will be an advantage.
Minimum of 4 years of Credit Management Experience in a management role with
increasing levels of responsibility
Extensive experience in managing complex projects and growing/scaling an unstructured
business
Experience working in a matrix, extremely dynamic, fast-paced, results oriented multi-
country environment; and prioritization.
