Under the responsibility of the Well Engineering Manager, the Completion Engineer wi be in charge to develop optimized well completion design according to Company standards & minimum requirements, integrating the most suitable technologies. To prepare completion/workover programs and related operation’s plan, support its execution providing engineering advise to the SPT. To update (when necessary) design and execution plans.
To this end, its main activities will be :
• Prepare Completion, Workover and Well Testing programs including all information in accordance with Company’s procedures with particular attention to well integrity, best available technologies, materials selection (metallurgies, etc.) and operational safety;
• Prepare estimated cost breakdown for the planned activities;
• Conduct operations follow-up on daily basis and assist the SPT for specific tasks;
• Recommend changes (if necessary) to improve methods and techniques;
• Prepare End of Well Report, collecting lessons learnt;
• Carry out specific studies as per specific request from Well Engineering Manager;
• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tenders
Profil du poste
| • At least Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mining and Geology Engineering or a related technical field • At least 15 years in Subsea Completion Engineering and 8 years in the position • Familiarity with offshore and onshore oil and gas equipment, systems, and maintenance best practices • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams. • Proficient in French and English, both written and verbal • Knowledge of local regulations and standards in Ivory Coast’s oil and gas industry is preferred.• Duties to be carried out in compliance with Company Code of Ethics and Internal Control System. |
